Summer of Color - Brown

The Summer of Color challenge this week is brown.  Again I stayed with my monochromatic painting using one pot of brown acrylic paint together with white.   I have also painted a brown watercolour drop flower for fun.  Brown is not a very good colour to scan, so this may look so different on everyone's screens.

I think that so far, yellow has been the biggest challenge for me, but am not looking forward to red, as this I think it will be a really hard one just using the one colour.  Writing this post prior to Kristin putting up the next colour, I bet it will be red! Am also trying to think what the remaining five colours are going to be.

Thank you so much everyone for taking the time to visit my blog and also commenting, it makes all the difference knowing what people think.

Catch everyone elses posts on Kristin's blog from Monday onwards.

As you can see Linda, I have also make the choice of monochromatic color for the summer of color, it is a big challenge for me to stay tune on one color and the variation of that color...You have a special way to create your paint and I like is so much, I adore each detail each time...I want to see you red one, it will be cute I am sure xxx

  20. Really liking your monochromatic browns! Great little birdhouses and I love your flowers! That's too funny: I thought it might be RED too, next week. But Kristin has surprised us with "wings" as a bonus, huh?! I've never workied with wings before, except with little butterfly stickers maybe...this will be another good challenge indeed! Have a fun Brown week and relax! See you for red! ~kathy
