Show and Tell update

This week's summary for my Artists in Blogland post.

I have joined  the lovely and talented Lori's LetterLab class over at Creative Workshops. With my current work schedule I have not yet had time to start but hope to this weekend, as I know that this class is going to be great.

I also finished my Creative Tuesday's challenge of incorporating the words "Thanksgiving or Thank You" in the work, see my post.

Lastly, I painted a very simple poppy to commemorate Armitice Day in the UK.  This was the day back in 1918 that peace was declared on the first world war on the eleventh hour, on the eleventh day in the eleventh month.  A lot of people will have a two minutes silence at 11am on 11th November each year.  During the second world war the Armitice Day was switched to a Sunday, so we now have Remembrance Sunday  as well, where also a two minutes silence is observed to remember all those who have given their lives for their country. So I have posted my poppy again to commemorate Remembrance Sunday.

Good weekend everyone.
