Creative Tuesdays - Minty

Minty is the challenge this time over at Creative Tuesdays.

I love all things minty from chocolate to mint tea, so I dug out all the minty coloured fabric that I have to make this piece of wall art.  It is not completely finished yet, as the buttons on the bottom need to be sewn on and also the edges need finishing. Thinking about adding some lace for this, but will need to source it. The canvas also needs painting so that it can be hung or stood up easily.

Michael, I did manage to get some polka dots in!  More minty ideas are over on the CT blog.

  3. this is so adorable! I think adding a tea bag on the side of the cup would say tea more but that's just what think.

  6. Looks beautiful. I love fabric art so much. I'm terrible at sewing but it's always pleasure to see people doing it. I also ended up with "a cup of mint tea" with this ct- theme.
    Great work.

  7. This is so cute, and fantastic wall art! This makes me think of Mint Tea, as well as Saint Patrick's Day, with all of the fabulous tones of green. Mint Tea is the best, whether it's Green (to wake you up with caffeine) or Un-Caffeinated. I'm a recent convert away from Coffee and to Tea, so I really enjoyed this. Great job!
