This is my update for the week for Artists in Blogland. Well, I finished my Creative Tuesday's challenge of Kitchen. My witches kitchen can be viewed here or in the blog entry below this one. The next fortnightly challenge is Morning and I already have ideas for this one.
I have also been playing around with coffee, yep using coffee as a basis for a picture. Not only is it wonderful to work on but smells heavenly as well.
Also I ordered some cards from zazzle of some of my designs to see what they would look like, which have now arrived and I am soo pleased with them. So I have now decided to open a Zazzle store, I will keep you all posted on that.
After reading my update for the week, check out what everyone else has been doing at the Artists in Blogland page. Thank you so much for dropping by and have a great weekend.
Your coffee flowers look beautiful. I've heard of using coffee and tea but never tried it. I don't drink either but I do like the aroma of fresh brewed coffee. Pretty art and pretty aroma....two for one!

Zazzle what's that about?
ReplyDeleteI too am curious how you make these they are lovely.
ReplyDeleteYour cards look wonderful Linda. I also love the coffee works. I recently used coffee to age my daughters birthday invitations. They were meant to be ancient scrolls that were rolled up and tied with ribbon. It was invitation to a ball (at a fancy dress shop). I haven't tried it in my artwork though. Will have to try it, as I LOoove the smell of freshly brewed coffee and can't miss my morning coffee.
ReplyDeleteI hope you do more.
Kyles :D

I always love your doodles. Well, they're actually works of art. :) I never tried coffee staining. Maybe because I'm not a coffee drinker. :) And those zazzle cards are awesome!
