The latest challenge from Creative Tuesdays is Pattern. As valentines day is coming up, and to make Mr T happy, I have drawn a heart, well a couple really. The actual pattern is made up of circles (couldn't get away completely from my dots!) and curved lines.
This sort of detailed line work I find so very relaxing and do love doing it. Looking at it on screen, I think the lower areas need to be a little darker to stop it being top heavy.
As I always tend to put my entries early on my blog, check out Mr T's blog on Tuesday to see other patterns.
love it!
ReplyDeleteand understood your concern about the dark-light balance... i'm wondering wouldn't be easier to lighten up the heavy black lines with a white gel pen or acrylic ink pen?
Fantastic! I like the little bit of red in the bottom heart. It's just the perfect touch.
ReplyDeleteMagnificent!! I just adore all in it! It is an excellent job!
ReplyDeleteOh Linda...I love this gorgeous heart! If our CT today hadn't been delayed a week, the next would have fallen right on Valentine's Day...this entry would have been perfect for that! It certainly would make a gorgeous valentine!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful heart! I agree zen doodling is so relaxing.
ReplyDeleteHa, you;re funny Linda--and there I was expecting you to do an illustration with dots and you almost didn't do dots at all. As it is, it's another brilliant interpretation and yes, hearts this time of year are always good, aren't they? Ty so much. Love it.
