Creative Tuesdays - Underwater

Practising with my copic markers again for this weeks Creative Tuesdays  challenge of Underwater. Actually the challenge was Underground or Underwater.

Meet the siren of the deep!  My lightest blue marker ran out whilst I was doing the background, so it is not as I was hoping, but I think the uneven colour adds to the moving water!

Swim over to Mr T's blog to see more underground or underwater things, or better still why not join in.

A great weekend to all my lovely followers and readers of my blog.

  2. It definitely does look alive. Don't you love how when things don't work out the way you planned, sometimes it turns out better than expected. I really like how you had the fish and the turtle attentively in-tune to the mermaid, almost like a school setting. Very nice. Thanks

  3. The fish and turtle seem to be quite smitten with her! :) What a cute drawing, Linda! You captured her hair as it would look underwater perfectly, too!

  6. What a delightful artist you are!! I'm loving the little beez in your logo.

I would never have known you ran out of blue ink. It looks perfect to me. Cool effect on her hair being swept to the side.

    So nice to meet you.

  9. lovely mermaid, I like all the blues and oranges. the faded blue in the background does make it seems like water, there's movement by the blue bubbles, very creative.
