Paradise Island is the latest topic for Creative Tuesdays.
I have always had a fascination for shells and especially the nautilus, so I thought why not create an island living on top of a giant one. There are a couple of aspects that I am not entirely happy with in this picture so may pursue this concept further, although I am pleased with the result.
Thank you for looking at my page and whilst you are here why not pop over to Mr T's blog to see other people's ideas of paradise island.

Oh Linda, you should submit this for a logo to a Travel Agency. Wow it's just beautiful, colorful, and says Paradise Island!
ReplyDeleteIf you plan a trip to your Paradise Island, sign me up....haha
I love this - I have always been fascinated with them as well and used to have one...now I wonder where that went! This would make a great logo for a hotel along the beach!
ReplyDeletea travel agency logo...what a cute idea... I do agree with Wanda! Love the cresting waves and the sun rays! Very nice!
ReplyDeleteI have a thing for shells, too!
This is such a clever idea! I like the way the waves mimmick the shape of the nautilus. And the colors are great!
ReplyDeleteLinda, that is funny as I was even thinking of drawing an island on something but then decided I wasn't sure what to draw it on. you came up with a great object here--that shell. Clever. Love your plam trees. TY for adding this to our collection. So love those dots.
ReplyDeleteVery creative, love the Island "living" atop the seashell. Very cool. Thanks
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful
ReplyDeleteVery pretty and it is indeed a paradise. I love the shell island :)
ReplyDeleteI totally feel your island vibe, Linda...in an abstract sort of way.
ReplyDeleteso lovely and the colours are gorgeous :)
ReplyDeleteThis makes me think of the movie Dr. Doolittle and his quest for the giant pink snail. So much fun, and I'm inspired that you used the window shape instead of a square to create in!
ReplyDeleteThis is very pretty...it would make a great stained glass window.
ReplyDeleteI always spent my half an hour to read this blog's articles or reviews everyday along with a mug of coffee.
