Hot Air Balloons is this weeks SPA challenge. I am not sure where this drawing came from and I feel that there should be a story to go with the predicament these two seem to be in.
Marker pens on recycled cereal card and envelope paper.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Too cute and so different! Isn't it fun to do something really new once in a while? It does look like a dangerous predicament! But I predict the mouse's tiny tail is about to come loose of the string, which seems to be unraveling nicely. On the other hand, if his big brother would just let go, he can climb up the string and get into the balloon and have a grand ride! Those big brothers, always worrying about safety!
ReplyDeleteIn answer to your question, I do like the colored paper, but even with that relatively light mustard, very few Copic colors work well at all. You can do greens (like I did in my castle one) and then orange, brown and that's about it! And it does suck up the marker quite a bit. My favorite part of the toned paper is using black and white on it, so I may try something with just those next time. :)
