Creative Tuesday - Monogram

The latest challenge over on Creative Tuesdays is monogram.  Having decided that I wanted to have my initials in relief I did some experimenting.

For the first one I lighly penciled my initials freehand and then doodled flowers all around it. It was quite time consuming ensuring I did not draw into the initials.

For the second one I masked out my initials and then finger painted with acrylics. Once I had drawn into it I removed the masking tape.

Check out other monograms over on Mr T's blog.

  4. You did a great job keeping the negative space clear n that first one. I would have forgotten what I was doing and filled something in on accident for sure! Both of these are wonderful. I love that you used your fingers in the second one.

Can certainly see how this woudl take a long time, begin so very detailed too. Great job, Linda. Thank you so much.
