The latest challenge over on Creative Tuesdays is monogram. Having decided that I wanted to have my initials in relief I did some experimenting.
For the first one I lighly penciled my initials freehand and then doodled flowers all around it. It was quite time consuming ensuring I did not draw into the initials.
For the second one I masked out my initials and then finger painted with acrylics. Once I had drawn into it I removed the masking tape.

Love the level of detail you put into both designs. The effect of drawing around the letters is wonderful. Beautiful creations!

ReplyDeletegosh Linda, I love them both! Nicely done and it looks like you had fun!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job keeping the negative space clear n that first one. I would have forgotten what I was doing and filled something in on accident for sure! Both of these are wonderful. I love that you used your fingers in the second one.
