Hoorah Creative Tuesdays has returned, oh how I have missed this fortnightly group. I think my imagination went on holiday as well during that time. All the details on this challenge can be found on the Creative Tuesday blog run by Michael (aka Mr Toast).
This first one is "jump in" and for those who followed this group previously you may have come across this little band miscreants before. Well, they have resurfaced for this challenge obviously hoping the cat will jump in the pond.
It shows how out of practice is I am, by the time I had finished drawing all the details my fingers ached.
Do go and look at other lovely people's interpretation on this theme over at Creative Tuesdays or even better join in, we really are a friendly bunch. and as you can see from mine, anything goes.
Aww, that is so cute. You sure are good at illustrating! I hope the poor pussy cat doesn't fall in, he looks awful nervous, haha. I am happy that CT is back too. I am a little more confident in my creations now and look forward to some new challenges.
ReplyDeleteSee you next time :o)
Super cute little scene! Love the flowers. :)
ReplyDeleteI think they are just teaching the cat how to swim, that isn't such a bad thing. it's adorable! I especially like the polka dot boots on the chicken.
ReplyDeletehope you have a great day.
OMgosh, that is so utterly cute! Love it! And well done with rememebeing to add CT and link as well as theme name to your post! you get extra points there too. LOL, I had to laugh at your comment abou tyour hand aching! Wow. Well, you may be out of practice but I can see your delightful whimsy and style all over here. As much as I love those characters who yes, I totally recognize, i so love the way you draw the plants. pure genius. Thank you so much, Linda, for jumping in with us and the lovely write up as well. Yes, we are all going to be dusting off our tools, methinks. :)

great take on the theme Linda!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a darling illustration, Linda! I love popping in to see what you're up to and illustrating away at. Adore. :)
ReplyDeletePoor kitty...Such cute little animals though. I know owls seem to be the big thing right now but I'm kind of loving the little frog.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad we're back in CT. I've missed your clever creations.
ReplyDeleteKitty is so cute...that expression is priceless. I think this would make a great "Coping" card.
Nice work Linda.
agreed.
DeleteI remember them! They are very cute and clever. The cat is a hoot! True to form he's not into that water
ReplyDeleteThis is just lovely. The bad duck is shouting "Jump!" and the poor cat has changed his mind. Hope the fire brigade come in time.
