Creative Tuesdays - Festive words

We have a choice of three phrases of Christmas words this time over at Creative Tuesdays, and for those who are trying to guess my choice I did not want to immediately give the game away by putting it in the post title.  The choices were HO-HO-HO or GOOD TIDINGS or CHRISTMAS WONDER. 


  I have a feeling that you will have guessed correctly Michael!

Good news, as my eye seems to be on the mend and my vision is getting better, I thought I would get back to my style of whimsical drawing, so if anyone is interested I have added my pencil rough, as the finished version did change slightly.  Painted with acrylics and pen.

    I kind of like the fatter santas in the drawing but the variety in the finish is good too. you should add more ho-ho-ho so it would look like they are singing. I guess santas are rarely seen singing? nice take on CT.

    Yes, Linda I SOooooo got it! Hahahha, just knew you;d do ho-ho-ho and even thought you might do polka dotted Father Xmases. Love it. You certainly delivered. I totallylove too seeing the changes between your initial AMAZING sketch and the final product with the foreground heart Santa's open mouth gone and the one to the right made thinner. I wonder why you chose to make those various changes? I like iehter way and so love your colour application. you are an expert, no doubt. Thank you so much. Like Christine said, you definitely get me into the Christmas Spirit. :)

    And as Donna said too, totally agree there that you are alovely person, deserving all the healing possible. So glad your eye is on the mends. I'm always amazed at waht you do even with your eye issues, let alone with it getting better--like stitching, and so on! you are seriously one talented artist. I am thrilled that CT has allowed you to get back into your art since the lapse between CT old adnd new. You make it totally worth while. Thank you again.
