All 29 faces together.

This has been such a great challenge and I have met lots of lovely new artists. Thanks again to the wonderful  Ayala Art for hosting.

The idea was to draw a steampunk lady but the more I look at her she reminds me of a geisha girl.

All the faces for this challenge are being drawn on A5 paper and I am enjoying working on this larger format. Well larger for me anyway!  Am also enjoying playing with greys as well.

I joined the very talented Sal Scheibe's workshop on Mixed Media Goth Girls at the beginning of this year and have only now got around to having a go at it.  I thought the 29 faces challenge may be a great opportunity to practice goth faces as well, so this is the first one.  

Looking at her now, I think she must be a nice natured goth queen!

More pencil practice.  The very talented Cindy from The Slumbering Herd suggested that I add something to spice up my faces with something extra.  After starting on this face, she reminded me of an air hostess, so "the exits are .....".  Thanks Cindy for your great advice.

Have now twigged that it helps to place paper over the areas you are not working on to stop unwanted smudges.
