Creative Tuesdays - Thank you

The challenge this time for Creative Tuesdays is to have the words Thank You or Thanksgiving in the piece.  All I knew is that I wanted to have a detailed flower with the words included.  The following (done over a good few evenings) was what gradually evolved.

Black and white week

This week has felt a little meditative, I am having hectic days at work, so I need a little calming when I am at home hence the following. I find just doing repetitive line work so relaxing.

Mandala

I do love doing these mandalas, I think I find the repetition of the lines very calming.  After scanning, for fun I inverted it as well.

Mandala

A while ago I did the following mandala and this week I was playing around on the computer and inverted it to see what it looked like.  I do like the effect of white on black, only wish I could draw like that, but I can never find a suitable liner pen.  Perhaps I will try with white ink and dip pen on black paper.
