Hope journal page

This is the finished version from the sketch I posted earlier.

I have now started on my large canvas for Tam's Magical, Mythical Makings class  (Goddess, Klimt style).  I have not worked on such a large scale before, so although I am enjoying it a lot, I think it will take me time to finish.  I find that I need to put down my work sometimes, and go away from it and do something else, then go back with fresh eyes.

  1. She looks beautiful with all the soft colors.

Good luck on the larger canvas. I'm getting the urge to do something big, too but my work space is fairly limited.

  2. Thank you for your comments Janet. I have come to the conclusion that if I do any more large canvases I need an easel!

  3. Hi Linda, Thank you for visiting my blog and offering your support during these trying times. I'm not sure why I hadn't found your blog before but now I have and I'm following. I love your HOPE journal page! She certainly speaks to me. A lovely job!
Ha, I am still stuggling with my Goddess in Tam's M3 class. Last night I scraped off the last of the collaged pieces and will be starting over on the decoration. Can't wait to see what you create!

  4. Hi Jess, Thank you for your kind comments on my Hope journal page. My blog has only been going since 1 January, so I am a newbie, trying to learn the ropes. When my goddess is finished, I will post it.
