Summer of Color - Purple

Purple was the color for this weeks Summer of Color challenge.  We only have three more weeks left after this one, so a great big thanks to Kristin for taking the time and effort to make this group so cohesive and such fun. I have discovered some wonderful artists along the way and recieved some great and funny comments from them. Thank you all.

This young buck of a seahorse is again a monochromatic 5x4 acrylic painting with one pot of paint. Purple is another funny colour to scan and can look more of a bluey shade and  I don't have the graphics packages to allow me to adjust the colour.

    Love the expressions on the fish and your flowers are beautiful. Really like the background on that piece. And have you looked at GIMP, another free software package that I use. Julie
