29 faces September 2013 ..face one

The lovely Martha at Ayala Art is hosting another 29 faces challenge for Setpember 2013.

I first joined in the Feburary challenge and had loads of fun and met lots of gorgeous people.  All the details can be found on her blog, just click on the icon on the right of this page or the link above.

All my faces are going to be on 4x5 inch recycled card as the base and then well, anything goes. I am already constructing a box from a recycled carton to keep them all in.

On this one I pasted envelope paper over cereal card using matte medium.  I loved the blue shadows it had created when dried and did not want to paint over them so blue coloured pencils were used  I just let the paper and creases decide what the face was going to be.

  6. Your blue lady has the kind of eyes that look straight into your inner self, which matches so well with the idea of Look Under the Surface. That seems to be just what she is doing. I love it.

  10. How pretty! Her eyes are especially lovely. And I really like the idea you have for keeping all of your faces on a 4 x 5 base. They might look really nice framed at the end. :)
