Who hoo it's that time of the year again - the 29 faces challenge for the month of February. The fabulous Martha of Ayala Art is again hosting this and to find out more just click on the link on the right.
I decided on this first one to go back to the basics and try to draw properly in pencil. I know the proportions on this first one are not right and I must admit I only spent 20 minutes on it (with lots of hand smudges!) so probably did not give myself much of a chance. Back to the drawing board.
Click on the right hand link and see loads of other fabulous faces, or even better join in.
Fab start for the 1st day of 29 Faces. Hugs Annette x

She looks great to me. If you look at real people, most do not fit the perfect proportions we are taught in art class.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty face and wow, the progress you've made on noses! Noses are hard. Pretty hair, too!
ReplyDeletefab face ... great drawn - fab shading!
ReplyDeleteShe is very pretty! Looks like a great start to me :)
ReplyDeleteDon't be too hard on yourself! This is really good! I like the fact that pencil sketches get our signature smudges in them. It adds to the artistic quality of it. Your drawing is very good. Can't wait to see more!
ReplyDeleteShe looks fantastic! Love the eyes!
