Phew, just made it in time. Flower bouquet is the order of the day over at Creative Tuesdays.
I challenged myself with this one, 45 minutes max flower doodle, using a medium I hardly ever use (watercolours) and in a different style. I did it, but not sure what I think about it.
(Added after publishing my post. Our host, Michael ever so kindly brightened my picture for me. I have left both versions just so you can see the difference. It's amazing what a bit of technology can do, thank you Mr T!)
Check out flowers galore over on the CT blog.
I love your spring bouquet Linda! Spring's my favourite season too by the way! Well, if it would warm up a bit more. It has been cold in Toronto so far.
ReplyDeleteLinda,
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome. I love the free movement of the flowers. A very exciting piece.
Blessings,
Janis
Christine, I always look forward to seeing your creations. And you didn't disappoint. It's beautiful! And I can't believe you did that in 45 minutes. Wow.
ReplyDeleteOops, sorry Linda. I did mean to say Linda, honest! Forgive me. :-)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteit's wonderful. I like the loose-style of drawing. and yes, the brighten up of the image does make a difference, and make your drawing better, if not more clear.
ReplyDeletehope you have a lovely day.
I'm glad you included the brightened up version as it really shows off what I'm sure is closer to the original piece with its bright colours. I don't know, Linda, but you seem to be a natural at water colour too! go figure. I love it. Very you still and a gorgeous bouquet. Thank you!
