Something a little different this time over at Creative Tuesdays, a two parter. The first one is to do a single flower with a whole bouquet following in two weeks time.
Fancied doing some collage as I only had an hour, so dragged out some old papers and just played with them. I'd forgotten how absorbing this is as I tend to go with the flow when collaging and never worry about the outcome. So I found this very refreshing.
Michael has a new blog which is a delight to read, as amongst his talent for all things arty, he has a wonderful way with words, so he can eloquently express himself both in words as well as pictures, a gift indeed. Go and have a read, you won't be disappointed.
A beautiful collage Linda, I love your flower LOTS {{Hugs}} :o)) x
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty flower with all swirls and patterns. I just finished mine. Hope to post it tomorrow :)
ReplyDeleteYour flower is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful single flower collage Linda!
ReplyDeleteI like all the various patterns - they work well together. this looks very neat and precise for something you just played with. if I would to do that, it wouldn't come out this good.
ReplyDeletehave a lovely day.
Aw, thank you for your write up, Linda. That is lovely!
ReplyDeleteNow, onto you art: What? That's a collage? Ridiculously good. I totally love it. How fun. So so glad you even found it refreshing. What is crazy is you did this in an hour when I spent hours and hours on mine...and never did get anything decent out of it. In fact I washed it all away.
Linda, I agree with Michael, "ridiculously good". I also love to see what creative designs your come up with. You have talent beyond measure. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful collage - I love how the colours, shapes and patterns blend so well but are so different.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Janis
Lovely! I really love how the colors in your flowers and their background! This is the kind of collage I could picture seeing on the front of a scrapbook / journal that was handmade and for sale in a fancy stationery store. Beautiful work!
